Because dogs play such important roles in our lives, we donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of our wines to dog-related charities. We support canine service organizations, animal shelters and groups dedicated to dog rescue.

THE LOYAL COMPANION series is dedicated to helping local animal shelters and rescue groups find loving homes for our devoted and faithful friends. There are two ways your purchase of wine in this series will help support these worthwhile organizations: 1) Online – for each bottle of wine sold we will donate $1.00 to recognized charitable organizations with which we have developed relationships (you can choose which of the listed charities you would like your order to benefit during the checkout process); and 2) Restaurants & Retail in Colorado & California – we will donate 50 cents back for each bottle sold (we hope to encourage our restaurant & retail partners to match our donations!).

Add Your Local Animal Shelter & Rescue Group To Our List!
If you have a favorite animal shelter or rescue group in your area that you think should be involved with Cru Vin Dogs, please have them contact us at info@cruvindogs.com and we will send them more information on our PAW program. Our goal is to continue to add local organizations throughout the country based on your input, so we can help support them and our canine friends through your purchases!

Cru Vin Dogs Wine Group donates a portion of the proceeds of our sales of our Puppy, Portrait & Best in Show series wines to our core charitable partners: Canine Companions for Independence and Morris Animal Foundation’s Cure Canine Cancer campaign. If you would like to support these organizations, you may purchase these wines at your local retail store or buy them online using their donation code (CCI and MAF) upon check-out. In addition to monetary support, we hope to raise public awareness and understanding of the causes these wines support, perhaps encouraging more people to become involved in their efforts.

Canine Companions for Independence
Canine Companions for Independence is a national non-profit organization that enhances the lives of children and adults with disabilities by providing highly-trained assistance dogs and ongoing support to ensure quality partnerships. The organization is based in Santa Rosa, CA, with regional offices throughout the United States. More information is available at www.cci.org

Morris Animal Foundation
Morris Animal Foundation is a non-profit corporation whose purpose is to improve the health and well-being of companion animals and wildlife by funding humane health studies and disseminating information about these studies. More information is available at www.morrisanimalfoundation.org.

We also make additional donations on selected wines to great causes such as the Alie Foundation and Greyhound Rescue in order to provide both awareness and funding.

Long before Cru Vin Dogs was founded, our partners were active in supporting local charities. In one of our previous lives—with Grand Vin Ltd.—we would select a worthy cause to support each Christmas. One donation in particular sticks out and in many ways, it was part of what inspired Cru Vin Dogs. We’ll let Bill Foss’s son Jeff tell you about it.
